In a recent survey conducted by PwC, almost half (49%) of jobseekers working in in-demand areas such as technology said they turned down an offer because of a bad experience during the recruitment process.* That’s why it is important to us that you can integrate Firstbird into your talent acquisition strategy from the moment of referral onwards.

Improved Candidate Journey
To accept a referral, candidates simply enter a minimal set of data (first name, last name, email). Immediately after accepting the referral, we save this information and automatically forward applicants to the application page of your job advertisement.
Referrals and Applications
Unfortunately, candidates, who accept a referral, do not always have time to apply straight away. In such circumstances it is very likely that an accepted referral will not lead to an application. To minimize this risk, we remind referred candidates to complete their application after a certain time.
Through our simplified referral process you can also reach applicants even if they have not yet completed their application and use Firstbird as an additional channel for your active sourcing initiatives.
After the application, Firstbird links referrals to the applications in your applicant tracking system, if it has the corresponding interfaces.
This way, feedback from your employees can be imported into your applicant management system and future status changes can be synchronized automatically. It is no longer necessary to add application details.
