What Does This Mean?
ISO 27001 and ISO 27018 are standards developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization1 (ISO), and being certified in them proves that our service meets customer expectations.
Meeting these standards is a testament to the high quality of our information security and data protection.
With the ISO 27001 certification, we ensure for our customers that our information systems and processes uphold a high level of confidentiality and that any potential vulnerabilities are systematically uncovered. Simultaneously, IT risks as well as any possible damages and their consequential costs are reduced.2
The ISO 27018 certification is specific to the protection of personal identifiable information (PII) and is considered an important supplement to ISO 27001. With the ISO 27018 certification, we implement guidelines and protective measures that optimally minimize possible security risks in the cloud.3 As a customer, this means that you can rest assured knowing that your information held in the cloud is protected at the highest level.
SOC 2 is a compliance standard created by the American Institute of CPAs4, and meeting this standard involves rigorous requirements concerning the safe handling of business processes, including risk management and information security controls.
“Working towards these rigorous international compliance standards has been a goal that we are thrilled to have achieved. The team is dedicated to always improving our security systems as protecting sensitive information is something we take very seriously, and having the best industry standards is imperative for us.” – Daniel Pfeiffer, CTO Employee Referrals
The SOC 2 Type 1 standard is a point-in-time audit. Radancy’s Employee Referrals will undergo the Type 2 audit, which is more extensive as it is conducted over a period of time, later this year.
Working towards achieving these international, additional and voluntary compliance standards showcases our dedication to having the best-in-class information security practices; it is a milestone that we are extremely proud of. This is in line with our quest to keep raising the bar when it comes to protecting personal information from any potential threats that come with data processing.
We look forward to continuing to elevate our protection measures as cybersecurity evolves, and maintaining the highest standards that our customers trust us to have.
